Healthy sleep habits

Healthy sleep habitsTo get enough sleep soundly every night and then had to set up a healthy sleep habits and must discipline ourselves to the habit. As we know enough sleep at night can reduce the risk of various chronic diseases that are harmful.

Here are some things you can do to establish healthy sleep habits according to the National Sleep Foundation:

  • Apply routine of sleeping and waking up with the same schedule every day including holidays.
  • Create a calming bedtime routine and try your bedroom comfortable, dark and quiet.
  • Use a sleeping pad or mattress and bed linen are comfortable and make sure to use the bed only for sleep and sex. Do not do other things like working, playing gadgets, gaming, and others in bed.
  • Do not eat two to three hours before bedtime. Also avoid caffeine, alcohol and cigarettes just before sleep.
  • Exercise routine but do not exercise just before bed.
